What is Apprenticeship?

An Apprenticeship is a skill training program where an individual is engaged by a company as an apprentice. The apprenticeship combines classroom (theoretical) learning with on-the-job training at the actual workplace, enabling the apprentice to gain practical experience while learning the necessary skills for a particular trade or industry.

Why Apprenticeship?

Apprenticeships are mandated by law for all establishments with more than 4 employees (including contractual employees). This ensures that businesses contribute to the skill development of their workforce.

An apprenticeship is a proven solution for training and retaining industry-ready talent. It helps businesses develop skilled professionals who are ready to contribute from day one. For apprentices, it’s an excellent opportunity to acquire hands-on experience, making them more valuable and employable in the competitive job market.

  • Skill Development: It enhances the practical skills of students, making them industry-ready.
  • Industry Exposure: Participants gain firsthand experience in a real-world work environment.
